About this Blog

I like foreign songs very much, and I like to be able to sing songs of foreign languages even when I do not necessarily know the meaning of each word.

However for learning a specific language, memorizing songs in that language can be quite useful.

I use publicly available streamed videos (e.g. youtube.com) & lyrics and combine them using easy common services such as overstream.com.

I currently focus on Spanish, Dutch, and French.

The English translation may sometimes look awkward. This is because the intention is to help understand the specific words and not just the entire sentence. The meaning of the whole sentence is usually picked up quite easily.
